About this item

  • 4 TRANSLATION MODES: LiveTalk supports Face-to-Face, Live Listening, Voice Call, and Multi-Media Translation. Face-to-Face and Live Listening use your phone microphone for audio pickup. For Face-to-Face Translation, keep the phone within about 1 m (3 ft); wear both earbuds for quick exchanges while the other person hears the translation from the phone, or share one earbud each for longer conversations such as business discussions and meetings.
  • AI CONTEXT TRANSLATION & LIVE SUMMARY: AI-powered translation interprets context and terminology to refine wording and improve consistency. Live Listening is for one-way listening rather than two-way conversation, supports phone-based pickup up to 3 m (10 ft), and uses AI Live Summary to organize key topics with timestamps for review after meetings, classes, and lectures.
  • CALLS, VIDEO MEETINGS & MEDIA ON 2 DEVICES: Connect LiveTalk to your phone and computer at the same time for translated phone calls, Zoom or Teams meetings, and audio or video content. The second connected device requires no Timekettle software. Dual-device translation applies to Voice Call and Multi-Media modes. The Timekettle app supports Android 10.0+ and iOS 14+.
  • 54 LANGUAGES & 200 MINUTES EACH MONTH: Supports 54 languages, 108 accents, and 25 offline language pairs. Each LiveTalk includes 200 translation minutes that refresh every month and are used across all 4 translation modes. After the included allowance is used, additional translation time requires an optional plan or minute pack.
  • BATTERY FOR WORK, TRAVEL & DAILY USE: Get up to 4 hours of continuous translation or 8 hours of music per charge, with up to 35 hours of music playback using the charging case. Clear, separate battery specifications help set the right expectations for translation, meetings, commuting, travel, and everyday listening.
  • 6.9 g OPEN-EAR COMFORT FOR WORK & TRAVEL: Each earbud weighs just 6.9 g with a lightweight open-ear design that keeps the ear canal uncovered for longer wear. Designed for business travel, commuting, client visits, meetings, hotel check-ins, dining, and everyday conversations where lightweight, comfortable wear matters throughout the day.

Description

Translation earbuds love selling Babel-fish stills like that is already a fluent meeting. I kept this Timekettle LiveTalk TMK009 on Omega Choices because the saved page names the object: open-ear 6.9 g buds, 54 languages and 108 accents, 25 offline pairs, four modes, dual-device phone-and-computer calls, $129.00 against a $179.99 strikethrough, #1 Best Seller in Electronic Foreign Language Translators, 11 ratings at 4.9. Vlad S.'s four-star subscription-and-noise note and Tim Zurawski's Vine-and-minutes honesty are the United States labels worth reading before you treat 200 included minutes like unlimited talk. If you wanted a pocket recorder for the same meeting instead of a translator in your ear, our Volorful magnetic voice recorder review is the other Electronics audio lane—not this open-ear LiveTalk.

Timekettle LiveTalk Review: Open-Ear TMK009, 11 Ratings, and the 200-Minute Honesty Test

Open-ear translator kits multiply every travel cart wearing the same fluent-meeting costume. I kept this Timekettle LiveTalk listing on Omega Choices because the saved page is specific: brand Timekettle, model TMK009, Black, 2.95 by 0.53 by 1.34 inches, 2.72 ounces, 6.9 g per bud in the bullets, three lithium-polymer cells in the carton, first available September 13, 2026—not a W4 Pro bone-voiceprint sibling pretending this ASIN already includes unlimited minutes.

That is the same filter as How We Pick Today's Best Deals: Two Weeks I Actually Stress-Tested Omega Choices Listings (And What We Refuse to Feature). Electronics picks this new still need the review pile read aloud. One hundred twenty-nine against a $179.99 strikethrough is a real-looking cut until a median shows up; I am treating the gap as a question, not a celebration. Eleven ratings at 4.9 with an eighty-eight-percent five-star bar and a twelve-percent four-star bar is a believer pile with no one-star row on the histogram I saved, and Tim Zurawski already wrote the Vine sentence so you do not have to discover it later. There is a #1 Best Seller badge in Electronic Foreign Language Translators. There is no Amazon's Choice stamp on the page I saved. Rank is #78,272 in Office Products and #98 in that translator aisle. Independent 2026 notes on Timekettle's nearby W4 and W4 Pro keep repeating the boring category physics: open-ear comfort is the pitch, phone connectivity still carries the session, latency shows up as a breath-length pause, and noisy rooms punish buds that lack a bone-voiceprint sensor. Do not import a $350 W4 essay onto B0HF4F7TJF—this is the LiveTalk TMK009, 200 monthly minutes included, optional plans after that.

Timekettle LiveTalk AI Translation Earbuds - review article photo

Product gallery hero from the Amazon listing we imported for this deal roundup.

Specs worth writing down before you share a bud at a hotel desk: four modes the listing names as Face-to-Face, Live Listening, Voice Call, and Multi-Media; phone-mic pickup inside about a meter for two-way talk and up to about three meters for one-way listening; dual-device pairing so a second laptop needs no Timekettle software for calls and media; app floor of Android 10 and iOS 14; 25 offline pairs as the airplane backup; up to four hours of continuous translation or eight hours of music per charge, with a case figure of up to 35 hours of music. The A+ video row on the saved page is titled Face-to-Face, Live Listening, Two-Way Call, and Audio & Video. Vlad S.'s United States four-star is the honesty I wanted on the object: he looked at W4, bought this cheaper SKU, then named the missing bone-voiceprint sensor and the $6 / $10 minute plans in the same breath.

United States owner language on the saved page is mostly believer, with the useful friction sitting inside five-stars and one four-star. Alexxi's long five-star is the brand-trust essay: clear voices, volume that does not need max, open-ear comfort, connectivity that stayed up. Product Reviewer's five-star is the meeting argument—dual-device mode as the reason this is not just a travel pair, plus the warning that an hour-long call eats the monthly allowance. MJ's five-star is family French-and-Spanish gatherings and school conferences, with a clean-the-buds-after-sharing note. The Girl Utah's five-star is a workplace Spanish gap, open-ear awareness in an office, a 3–5 hour case fill, and the account-required complaint she kept as her only knock. Staying afloat's five-star is all-day one-bud music wear, pause-on-bud but no volume-on-bud, and translation that is close enough without being instant. Amazon Customer's five-star walks 54 languages and Zoom pairing like a spec sheet. Tim Zurawski's five-star is the gift-for-travelers line and the Vine-plus-minutes warning on a product he says he does not need.

Keep this SKU in a different Electronics column from pocket recorders, travel chargers, and keyboard tablets. Our Volorful magnetic voice recorder review is magnetic 32GB capture if you wanted a meeting file, not a live voice in your ear. Our UltraQ MagSafe travel charger review is the foldable MagSafe brick if the trip only needed one cable. Our WXUNJA 11-inch Android 16 tablet review is the 11-inch Android kit if you wanted a screen in the seat pocket, not a translator. Our EGBULL M99 mini speaker review is the RGB airbag if you wanted a fridge magnet, not open-ear translation minutes. Full month placement is on the August deal sheet.

Buy it when you wanted a black TMK009 LiveTalk pair with four modes and dual-device calls already on the object, you will treat 200 monthly minutes and a Vine-heavy 11-rating pile as the job, and you accept that noisy rooms and the missing bone-voiceprint sensor are already in a four-star. Skip it if you needed unlimited minutes in the box, a thousand-review consensus, in-ear isolation, or the W4 Pro. Bottom line: Electronics, $129.00 against $179.99 with a translator Best Seller badge not Amazon's Choice, honest 200-minute pitch, and eight United States reviews that already started the subscription-and-Vine argument for you.

Product Summary

Owners who keep this Timekettle LiveTalk TMK009 in rotation usually describe an open-ear pair that wins on weight and meeting modes first: 6.9 g buds that leave the canal open, a compact magnetic case, and four layouts that split face-to-face sharing from one-way lecture listening, from phone-and-laptop calls, from media. Alexxi's United States five-star is the comfort-and-voice essay—clear speech, a volume range that does not sit at max, and connectivity that did not drop once the Timekettle app was paired. Product Reviewer treats dual-device mode as the whole point of this SKU versus a travel-only translator, then warns that a one-hour call is a real bite of the 200-minute monthly allowance and that a dirty line stays a dirty line after translation. MJ writes family gatherings where French, Spanish, and English sit at one table, plus school conferences where a principal wanted parents in the conversation instead of a sidebar interpreter, and she still tells you to clean shared buds. The Girl Utah's workplace five-star is a son paired with a Spanish-speaking coworker, office awareness because the ear stays open, a 3–5 hour case charge, music that is clear rather than concert-grade, and the account wall she dislikes even on the free tier. Staying afloat wears one bud for music and calls for a week at a time, pauses from the stem, and cannot change volume on the bud itself, which is the daily-driver honesty the spec row skips. Amazon Customer's five-star is the 54-language / 108-accent walk plus Zoom and Teams without extra software on the second machine. Vlad S. is the four-star landmine the histogram needed: he skipped W4 on price, then named regular mics that pick up lounge noise, offline packs that sound more robotic, GDPR talk without a clear delete-log control, and the $6 for 300 minutes / $10 unlimited ladder after 200 included minutes. Tim Zurawski puts the Vine label on the pile out loud and still calls the minutes the drawback on a gift he ordered for other people's trips. Feature language on the listing centers on Face-to-Face inside about a meter, Live Listening with AI summaries and timestamps, dual-device Voice Call and Multi-Media, 25 offline pairs, four hours of translation versus eight hours of music, and a 35-hour music figure with the case. Build talk is manufacturer Timekettle, model TMK009, Black, 2.95 by 0.53 by 1.34 inches, 2.72 ounces, three lithium-polymer batteries included, #78,272 Office Products and #98 Electronic Foreign Language Translators, $129.00 against $179.99, Best Seller badge and no Amazon's Choice on the page I saved. The histogram is eighty-eight percent five-star with twelve percent four-star and no 1–3 star bars on the saved page—a tiny 11-rating sample that still has to live next to Vine language and owners who already called the minutes a subscription. If you read that as sentences instead of a feature dump, the LiveTalk behaves like an open-ear meeting translator when you wanted TMK009 already on the object, you treated 200 monthly minutes as the reason it leaves the carton, and you already knew this ASIN is the cheaper LiveTalk—not a W4 Pro with a bone-voiceprint sensor in the buy box.

Comfortable, Clear, and Another Great Timekettle Product

Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2026
Style: Color: Black |
I’ve used several Timekettle earbuds at this point, and I’ve had consistently good experiences with them. These are no exception. The connectivity has been reliable, they’re easy to get set up and use, and I haven’t had issues with the connection dropping during use. The sound quality is clear, especially for voices, which is obviously important with translation earbuds. The volume range is also good and gets plenty loud enough for me without needing to keep it maxed out. I also really like the open-ear design. They’re lightweight and comfortable enough to wear for longer periods without that plugged-up feeling you can get from traditional earbuds. The translation features are easy to navigate and make these useful for more than just face-to-face conversations. Overall functionality is really good, and everything feels pretty seamless once they’re connected. They are more expensive than a regular pair of earbuds, but you’re also getting a lot more functionality. Considering the translation capabilities, connectivity, comfort, sound quality, and overall build, I think they’re a good value for what they offer. I’ve used enough Timekettle products now that I’ve developed quite a bit of trust in the brand. The quality and reliability have been consistent across the different earbuds I’ve tried, and these only reinforced that. They’ve definitely made me more curious about what else Timekettle offers beyond the models I’ve already used. Pros: Clear sound and voices Good volume range Comfortable open-ear fit Lightweight Reliable connectivity Easy setup and use Translation features work well Good overall quality Useful for different types of communication Good value for the functionality Consistently good experience with Timekettle products Cons: More expensive than standard earbuds Best value if you’ll actually use the translation features Overall: Another really solid product from Timekettle. I’ve had consistently good experiences with several of their earbuds, so they’ve become a brand I feel confident in when it comes to translation technology. These are comfortable, clear, reliable, and easy to use, and they’ve made me even more interested in exploring the rest of Timekettle’s lineup.

Dual Device Mode Is What Makes It Work for Meetings

Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2026
Style: Color: Black |
Most translator earbuds are built around two people standing in front of each other. That covers travel and does nothing for the meeting you are dialing into. Dual device mode is what changes the use case, because it puts the translation on a call or a video meeting rather than on a face to face exchange. In practice that means joining a call where the other party speaks another language and hearing it rendered in your ear while you speak normally. Latency is short enough to participate rather than just follow along, though you learn quickly to leave a beat before responding instead of talking over the tail of a translation. Four modes total, and knowing which to use is most of the learning curve. Face to face, the call mode, a listening mode for one way audio, and a mode for translating media. Switching is quick once the layout is familiar, and it is worth sorting out which ones you will actually use before you need them in front of people. Two honest observations. First, connected translation draws on a monthly minute allowance, and meetings consume it far faster than travel conversations do. An hour long call is a real portion of it, so anyone using this for regular meetings should map that out first. Second, call quality depends on the platform and the connection at both ends. A clean line translates well and a poor one compounds, so this improves a good call rather than rescuing a bad one. Compared to a translator built only for face to face use, the call and meeting capability is the entire difference and what justifies this over a simpler device. Compared to captioning built into a meeting tool, you get audio in your ear rather than text to read, which leaves your eyes on the people. Best for remote work across languages, for anyone taking regular calls with speakers of another language, or a role mixing travel with meetings. If you only need face to face translation, a simpler mode set will do.

Brings Everyone Into the Conversation

Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2026
Style: Color: White |
**Title: Excellent Real-Time Translation for Family Gatherings and School Meetings** Timekettle is truly a leader in translation technology, and this device is a great example of why. It is surprisingly easy to use, and I especially appreciate that it goes beyond simple translation—it recognizes different accents and dialects and even offers offline translation. What impresses me most is how natural the conversation can feel. The translation is fast, fluid, and easy to understand, without the long, awkward gaps that can make a multilingual conversation difficult. The sound quality is excellent on both ends, and the earbuds are lightweight, compact, and comfortable enough to wear for an extended conversation. Translation devices are particularly useful in our family because my husband's family speaks French. I understand quite a bit of French, but I sometimes have difficulty responding. My side of the family speaks both Spanish and English, with some relatives speaking only one language and others speaking both. Put everyone together at a family gathering and it can be quite a sight! These translators make our smaller gatherings much easier because everyone can participate in the conversation instead of someone constantly having to stop and translate for another person. I also use translation technology professionally as a school principal. We have families who speak a variety of languages, and it is extremely important to me that ALL parents are able to participate in conversations concerning their children in real time. These are especially helpful during smaller, more personal meetings such as parent-teacher-student conferences, where clear communication and understanding are essential. The earbuds are also easy to clean, which is important when they are being shared. I recommend cleaning them after each use. Considering the technology and versatility, I think the price is quite reasonable. For family gatherings, travel, school meetings, or simply communicating with someone when there is a language barrier, these are incredibly useful. I highly recommend them.

Trusting Timekettle for translation needs has been a solid decision.. Love they have options for any need. This open ear realtime translator is ideal for a workplace with bilingual languages!! Having a son teamed with a Spanish-speaking coworker.. this earbud bridges their language gap!! Ideal open ear style still allows to hear surroundings- phone, office conversations with colleagues.. and yet, provides ability to speak in real time to be part of conversation. Results become seamless with x1-2 trials! Pause is length of a breath before chat begins.. you set specifics in the app for: language, accent, volume, speed, etc.. Connects easy however, a few things to know! Set gives x200min free but, requires subscription from that point. ($6 = 300min.. $10 = unlimited.) If only using free- you still must set an account which I dont like- its my x1 complaint!! Easy charge x2- part case. Takes 3-5hr. to fill and holds charge as used. LED informs user of battery status. Perks: lets you use with music or phone calls- sound is just fine. Not concert level perfection.. yet, very clear/crisp results without distortion or dropping. Fits with lightweight + adaptable comfort.. includes extra wing/bud tips to size. See up close pics for visual. Unique device- Smart for study abroad, flight attendant/pilots international business.. even study of foreign language! More of basic level set to suffice needs- yet, still full of Timekettle perks and quality!! X5 unit.. x4 star must still sign up for free - Hoping this info can help.. be safe.

Affordable AI-enabled translator earbuds with long battery life, but require subscription.

Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2026
Style: Color: White |
Alright, let's look at these Timekettle LiveTalk AI Real-Time Translation Open-Ear Earbuds. I got them mainly because I travel often and deal with language barriers both for work and personal trips. Before that I tried numerous translation apps, but they all shared the same problem - I had to constantly pull out my phone and shout into a mic, which made conversations feel anything but natural. The LiveTalk promised something better - hands-free, instant translation through earbuds and privacy-protected AI correction. That was enough to convince me to give them a try. Friendly speaking, I was initially looking at the W4 model, but it was too pricey for me, so I settled on a cheaper version but with the same functionality. When the package arrived, the first impression was positive. The sleek, black earbuds and magnetic charging case felt high-quality out of the box. Setup was surprisingly smooth. I downloaded the Timekettle app on my iPhone, paired the earbuds via Bluetooth, and within a minute, they were ready to use. The interface is intuitive - it detects which mode you need, whether it’s two-way conversation, listening, or lecture translation. This cheaper model is missing the bone-voiceprint sensor of higher-end models though. Because it uses regular mics it picks up every bit of surrounding noise, unfortunately, not only actual voice vibrations like the W4 model. I tested it in an airport lounge pushing nearly 100dB of ambient sound, and while it still captured my words fairly accurately, the quality and clarity of translation was somewhat lacking with occasional voice recognition errors. Open-ear design does not help with noise reduction either. Despite that, the translation delay was minimal, usually under a second, and it recognized both English and Mandarin surprisingly well, even with my accent slipping mid-sentence. In real-world use, the LiveTalk performed best in calm to moderately noisy environments like restaurants or conference rooms. The translations were natural-sounding and often contextually correct - not just literal word swaps. I liked that the earbuds automatically handled punctuation and adjusted tone when switching between languages. The AI correction engine clearly does some heavy lifting there. Another limitation of this model is that it requires a monthly subscription. The free tier gives you 200 minutes of translation per month, but for only $6 a month you can get 300 minutes, and for only $10 go to the unlimited plan. Over the past month, I’ve used them in a few business meetings and casual social settings, and I noticed people quickly grew comfortable speaking once they realized how seamless the translations sounded. Comfort-wise, the earbuds felt lightweight and stable even after an hour of continuous use. The case is compact and charges quickly, and the battery lasts around eight hours per use, which matches the advertised time. The sound quality is crisp and clear, not high-fidelity music-level, but perfectly fine for speech. I liked how intuitive the touch controls were, especially switching between conversation and listening modes. It also helped that the app interface was clean and logically laid out, unlike many translation tools that feel cluttered or overly technical. Still, there are limits. The translation accuracy dipped when the Wi-Fi connection weakened, especially in rural areas or during spotty 4G coverage. Offline mode works, but feels more like a backup option than a true feature - the supported language set is narrower and translations sound robotic. As I said, battery life is decent - more than eight hours of active use, and the charging case is very compact for travel. Also, while the company promotes GDPR-protected privacy, I wish there were clearer in-app controls for deleting conversation logs. But overall, the Timekettle LiveTalk earbuds deliver what most portable translators fail to achieve - natural, near-real-time communication that feels human instead of mechanical. They’re not perfect, but for travelers, international couples, or anyone working across language barriers, they’re one of the most capable solutions currently available. If you’re patient with the occasional lag, lack of bone-voiceprint sensor, and keep expectations realistic, you’ll find that LiveTalk makes multilingual conversations easier and less awkward than ever before. Bottom line: The Timekettle LiveTalk translation earbuds provide an excellent, budget-friendly alternative to premium models, delivering highly natural and responsive real-time speech translation that makes traveling much easier. They offer great comfort, an intuitive companion application, and impressive battery performance that easily handles long trips. While they lack advanced noise-canceling sensors and struggle with weak internet connections or in offline modes, they still represent an incredibly effective and practical communication tool for anybody navigating frequent language barriers. My main concern is that they require a subscription to work, unlike more expensive models like W4. But overall - not flawless, but one of the most effective tools for real-time multilingual communication on the go. They get 4 starts in my book - solid buy if you are on the budget, recommended! Pros: 1. The setup process is very quick. 2. They pair with Bluetooth instantly. 3. The companion app is highly intuitive. 4. Translations sound very natural and accurate. 5. The device responds in under 1 second. 6. The design feels lightweight yet rigid. 7. The battery lasts for eight hours plus. 8. Touch controls are simple and easy to use. 9. Audio quality is clear for speech. 10. The charging case is very compact. Cons: 1. Requires monthly subscription. 2. Only 200 min/month at free tier. 3. No bone-voiceprint sensors in this model. 4. Background noise disrupts mic translation. 5. Open-ear design equals low noise isolation. 6. Offline mode supports fewer languages.

So this is the set that requires you to be engaged with the app and online features for the translation capabilities but it's a really good setup! And aside from the translation capabilities it's a really good set of earbuds! Nice little case very very comfortable earbuds. I guess I'm an over-the-ear gal... I've been wearing them non-stop for about a week now for music phone calls life in general... I wear one at a time while the other one stays in the case so I never get even remotely close to running out of juice and I've only recharged it once in that 2 week period of time! They're very good ear buds. The only thing I don't like about them is that you can't adjust the volume from the earbud itself at all no matter what. But you can pause from the earbud. Back to translation, because you use the app online language access with this particular set you're always going to be up to date. The actual translation time in a conversation is not actually instant, but it's pretty darn close! Definitely close enough to get things done without significant frustration and delay..

Using the Timekettle LiveTalk AI translation earbuds brought convenience to international client calls and daily commuting. The light open-ear design hooks securely over the ear without blocking the ear canal, maintaining situational awareness on busy streets while preventing ear fatigue during extended work meetings. Navigating conversations across 54 languages and 108 accents feels fluid thanks to the four dedicated operational modes. Switching to face-to-face mode allows easy dialogue by sharing an earbud with a colleague, while live listening mode acts as a digital note-taker during lectures, organizing key points into AI-generated summaries with exact timestamps. Linking the earbuds to both a smartphone and a laptop simultaneously enables seamless, real-time translation on Zoom and Teams calls without installing extra software on the computer. They are a good value for the money. With 25 offline language pairs available, navigating foreign travel remains dependable even without an active cellular connection.
